Kiriacoulis Mediterranean with the boat of the year 2006 at the 27th Athens International Boat Show

The visitors of the 27th Athens International Boat Show will have the opportunity to see, among other things, the boat of the year for 2006 at the stand of Kiriacoulis Mediterranean.

It is the winning Dufour 365 which was awarded the title “Boat of the year 2006” in France, in a competition among 129 new models tested by 120 experts. This distinction adds to the credentials of the french shipyard which is represented in Greece by Kiriacoulis Mediterranean. It is noted that 3 months ago another yacht of the same shipyard, Dufour 455 was voted by danish yachting magazines as “Boat of the year 2005” in the category + 38 feet in a special competition held in Copenhagen.

Kiriacoulis Mediterranean, third in the yachting industry world wide participates for another year in the Athens International Boat Show, the biggest event in Greece dedicated to pleasure yachts. The friends of the sea and yachting will have the opportunity to visit the stand of Kiriacoulis Mediterranean until November 27, 2005 at the facilities of the Athens former International Airport, to talk to the people of the company and see closely three exceptional yachts which have attracted the interest and won the hearts of many visitors since the beginning of the exhibition. Apart from Dufour 365, at the stand of Kiriacoulis Mediterranean are also exhibited the new motor yacht Bavaria 38 sport HT and the sailing yacht Bavaria 42.

Bavaria 38 sport HT has successfully replaced Bavaria 37 sport HT since August. The cockpit except for the captain’s seat has a sunbathing area, as the previous model did. The locker for the inflatable tender is noticeably bigger. It is noteworthy that both of the yacht’s hull and interior have been re-designed.

At the stand of Kiriacoulis Mediterranean is also exhibited the sailing yacht Bavaria 42 of the german shipyard BAVARIA YACHTBAU GMBH. Elegant lines, ample spaces and sailing performance are some of the characteristics of Bavaria 42. The interior offers three cabins, a kitchen and a saloon which combine comfort and functionality.
